What stays on your device

Your routine is local-first.

Reminder details, completion state, Family profiles, preferences, theme/reward state, and cached weather are stored on your device by the app. Bobobox does not run a Health Clock account database.

If you use camera proof for an alarm, Health Clock asks the system camera for one capture to confirm the action. The app does not upload or intentionally keep that photo; the operating system or camera picker can use temporary files while handling the capture.

Location & weather

Location is requested only for local weather.

When you choose to enable Weather, Health Clock requests location while you use the app. Coordinates are used to request forecast data from Open-Meteo and may be passed through the platform geocoding service to show a place name. Health Clock does not request background or always-on location permission.

Advertising & consent

Google UMP gates ad requests before Google Mobile Ads can load.

Health Clock uses Google Mobile Ads for its banner when an ad-free entitlement is not active. Before an eligible ad request, the app refreshes consent information through Google User Messaging Platform (UMP), shows a Google consent form when required, and does not request an ad unless Google reports that ads can be requested.

During setup you can choose personalized ads or basic ads. On iOS, the personalized path may request Apple App Tracking Transparency permission. If tracking is denied, restricted, remains undetermined, or cannot be resolved, Health Clock falls back to basic/non-personalized ads instead of turning that choice into a no-ads state.

When Google reports that a privacy-options entry point is required for your current region and provider configuration, Health Clock exposes Ad privacy choices in Settings so you can reopen the Google privacy form. Google and its advertising partners may process device identifiers, advertising data, interactions, diagnostics, and related information according to their policies and the choices available to you.

Optional Support purchases

Apple and RevenueCat handle purchase infrastructure.

Health Clock offers optional consumable Support purchases that unlock no feature. Apple processes payment and StoreKit transaction data. RevenueCat is used to load the matching store products and process purchase state. Health Clock does not receive your full payment-card details.

The lifetime Forever Pack and an active Theme Pass suppress the banner while their entitlement is active. That ad-free state does not erase transaction or advertising-provider records that those providers are required or permitted to retain.

Support messages

You control what you send.

If you email support@bobobox.xyz, the message and attachments you choose to send are processed by the email providers involved so Bobobox can reply. Avoid including passwords, payment credentials, or sensitive medical information.
